Printing Tips

There are occasions when a printing job needs to follow very specific details to accommodate the design, the physical properties that you want it to have such as texture, length and width, and the finishings that either enhance the look or serve as a functional part of the printout. However, there are times in which such requests are not readily available or permitted.

Color Printing Wholesale provides an easy solution to this inconvenience through our U-Page program. This free service and easy feature is designed to let you do quick customizations for each of your printing projects, not just with the size but with stock and finishing, as well.

With each spec comes a variety of options so you can closely follow the design idea you have. If you need a 4” x 4” postcard, why settle for its standard 4.25” x 6” dimensions. It’s a double whammy — you’ll need to adjust your design file, and pay more for the extra ink and paper.

You save with U-Page

Some simple custom jobs such as getting irregular sizes would entail additional cost. But not with U-Page. You pay for the product you need and not the service.

You get gang-run prices for your orders plus fast and free services. Know the cost with our instant price quotes and have your files checked by our pre-press specialists at no extra charge. Also, before your order gets printed, you get a soft copy proof.

Create your custom job

The following can be easily tailored with U-Page:

Size – Adjust the length and width of your print material from 2” x 2” up to 18” x 26”. Sizes on the drop-down menu are listed at increments of 0.25”. All you have to do is choose your preferred dimensions so you can easily have custom sizes like 5.25” x 7.75” and 12.5” x 16.25”.

Stock – Choose any coated or uncoated stock from our house selection. Options include 14 pt matte, gloss and high gloss cover; 13 pt recycled and uncoated cover; 10 pt matte and gloss cover; 100 lb gloss and matte text; and 70 lb matte and high gloss label.

Folding – You also have the option to avail custom folding, namely: half-fold, tri-fold and z-fold, all of which are scored. If folding does not apply to your custom job, simply select ‘none’ from the drop-down list.

Color – If you wish to have full color prints on both sides of your custom job, simply select 4/4 which represents 4-color printing on front and back panels. Should you opt for a full color front and black ink used to print on the back, choose 4/1. A full color front with a blank rear is designated by 4/0.

Quantity – Minimum quantity is 250 copies. This is followed by denominations of 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000 up to 10,000 pieces. The succeeding quantities are available at increments of 5,000 copies. You can order up to 100,000 so you can save with wholesale prints.

Turnaround time – Turnaround time includes getting the final proof, printing, cutting, adding finishings and packaging. Options for turnaround are 1, 2, 4 and 6 business days.

Don’t have a specific product in mind? You can also use U-Page to create your print material from scratch using the specs mentioned.
